Romaine Lettuce

A stable, staple lettuce, Romaine is highly popular thanks to its use in Caesar salad. It’s also really easy to pick up and work with, because of its long, tall heads, which make it quite friendly for slicing, chopping or shredding. Its flavour isn’t too overpowering, so it makes a great base for salads where you want to introduce a variety of different tastes.
